Do something productive today. Even accomplishing something really tiny will make you feel more motivated.
If you’re at work, checking off a few super-easy to-dos from your giant list is a great way to start: delete and file some emails; clean out your giant bag to organize receipts and throw away napkins, coffee stirrers, and any other trash that somehow accidentally made its way in there…If you’re home, a load of laundry, finally fixing that squeaky hinge you’ve been meaning to get to, or finishing a great book you’ve been reading all count. Just find a way to do something through to completion, and notice it, and that will help you be more productive all week long!
Another tiny thing you can do is read one or two of these motivational links!
- Got purpose? A longitudinal study suggests it boosts longevity, so if you want to live longer, know what you want to accomplish.
- Coffee makes you both happier and more productive, so this little video on how coffee works on your brain will really hit the spot — especially if you watch it while drinking a cup of coffee.
Here’s to doing a few tiny things today and feeling productive!
